NEW L.A. ROUTE! Sunday Community Pack Walk at Cheviot Hills
Time & Location
About the Event
The first LA Community Pack Walk lead by an LA community member makes a 2-mile loop around mostly quiet neighborhoods of Cheviot Hills / Monte Mar Vista and starts and ends at the Cheviot Hills Pool at Cheviot Hills Park and Recreation Center. There are a number of inclines on this route, so we will pace ourselves and take it slowly and there is always space to move away from approaching dogs, if needed. There is ample parking at the south end of the Cheviot Hills Recreation Center parking lot, or on the street along Motor Ave. You can view the route ahead of time or keep a copy handy for the day if you like. This is a great way to socialize your dog in a safe way. Dogs never meet on our pack walks. Please bring a six-foot or shorter leash and maintain a minimum of ten feet between dogs (feel free to take more space if you or your dog need it). No dog intros on pack walks please. This is a first run for a walk we hope to make a weekly after Labor Day. Look for more LA walks to come!
