COMMUNITY PACK WALKS
SOCIALIZE YOUR DOG AROUND OTHER DOGS AND PEOPLE!
Community Pack Walks are THE best and safest way to socialize your dog around other dogs and people. A minimum distance of 10 feet is always maintained at pack walks and dogs never meet. It is a great are an alternative to the chaotic, unpredictable, and often unsafe environment of a dog park and an excellent way to work on leash reactivity. Community Pack Walks allow us to gather and help each other work on our dog's socialization and leash skills. Pack walks There's lots of space to spread out, as much as you and your dog need. SHELTER DOG ADVOCACY
WANT TO GIVE TAKE A SHELTER DOG FOR A WALK OR ADVENTURE?
Take a shelter or rescue dog on a walk, adventure, or sleepover? Keeping a shelter dog alive is amazing, but it's not enough. Help us give them something to live for by taking them out of the cage and out into the world. Take photos and write about them on social media as you get to know them. All of this can and does GET THEM ADOPTED! Getting them out of the shelter environment reduces their stress, making them more appealing to potential adopters. Interested in helping with Events, Fundraisers, advocacy efforts, community outreach, or other projections that support Pit Bulls & their people? Consider being a general volunteer and be involved in a number of different projects and programs, or even have the opportunity to propose one of your own that we can help support! The Volunteer Brigade is a network of people interested in helping at risk Pit Bulls and their people through various programs. HELP FAMILIES KEEP THEIR BLOCKHEADS IN THEIR HOME.
The best way to save dogs is to keep them in their first loving forever homes. Through community outreach programs, we can have a TREMENDOUS impact on the number of pets going into the shelter and never making it out. Through low or no-cost spay and neuter programs, offering access to training and management resources, and offering things like housing information or help with medical bills, we can save lives and help minimize dogs becoming homeless and in danger.
