Building Community around the dogs we love

Blockhead Brigade is a community organization committed to improving the lives of Pit Bulls & their people through community outreach and advocacy. We host Community Pack Walks and free Dog Management Workshops, advocate for shelter dogs & housing rights, & promote the well being of Pit Bulls through social media, photography & art. We are against discrimination in all forms and we are not a rescue.

Our mission is to support Pit Bulls and their people through outreach, sharing resources, and community building. We promote the idea that dogs are family and should not lose their homes due to housing discrimination, behavior challenges, or economic difficulties. We seek to support others to help keep our community's dogs healthy, happy, and in their homes.

Do you have some time or a special skill? We are advocates for dogs and people and welcome your help. Our current projects are: fighting housing discrimination, shelter dog advocacy, and offering support through Community Pack Walks and Dog Management Workshops. Our team is built on respect for all, and we are committed to kindness and inclusion. If we sound like a good fit, join us!
