Pit Bull Appreciation Day is almost here! Please register! The theme this year is adventuring with your dog! No adventure is too small for your dog to enjoy. This no-contact community dog event will take place at Marina Vista Park (map below), cross street Terraine Avenue in Long Beach and features fun & activities for you & your dog, including enrichment, a scavenger hunt, photo booths, games, an opportunity drawing for prizes, photo contest, pack walks, training demos, adoptable dogs, Day of the Dead Pet Memorial Altar, great organizations & vendors, community resources & more! Help us build community around the dogs we love. Please donate so that we can continue to provide essential resources and care to keep dogs in their homes. All breeds, mixes, and  sizes are welcome! 10 feet of space MINIMUM between dogs, please, and six-foot or shorter leashes. No retractable leashes please. NO DOG INTROS. This event is free to the public, but your donation helps support our community assistance programs, which provides free behavior, housing and medical support. Please respect others' space and keep you and your dog safe. Your attendance means that you agree to be responsible for your safety and the safety of your dog. Watch out for each other.
